En Samain regresaban a casa las grandes guerreras, que en primavera habían partido para combatir en las distintas contiendas, repletas de riquezas, prestigio y asombrosas historias que contar. Ellas eran los HEROÍNAS. Para festejar su vuelta se celebraba una gran fiesta que podía durar hasta una semana y que concluía bajo la enigmática luz de la luna llena, que representaba a las DIOSAS, a las que se agradecía por la vida y por las cosechas del año. Pero también era el momento en el que la comunidad al completo, asumía las pérdidas de sus DIFUNTAS, que eran recordadas y homenajeadas en emotivas representaciones.

In Samain returned home the great warriors , who had left in spring to fight in diverse wars, full of wealth, prestige and amazing stories to tell. They were the HEROINS. To celebrate their return, a great feast was held that could last up to a week and ended under the enigmatic light of the full moon, representing the GODDESSES, who were thanked for life and for the harvests of the year. But it was also the moment in which the whole community assumed the losses of their DEADS, which were remembered and honored in emotional representations.
